Join the Council
If you are passionate about Independent Living and would like to help shape IL in Nevada, attend a SILC meeting and express your interest during public comment. After that, someone from the Council will reach out to you to get you acquainted and give you the tools you need to understand the SILC’s needs and where you can fit in.
Once you have read our onboarding policy including our Code of Ethics and Member Etiquette, and introduced yourself at a meeting (FFY24-25-SILC-Schedule), you can apply to the Governor’s Office for membership here, Official State of Nevada Forms (nv.gov)
