Important Emergency Preparedness Resources for People with Disabilities
Resources for Emergencies and Disasters
An emergency or natural disaster can happen when we least expect it. For those of us with disabilities, it is even more important to have a plan and be prepared. The Nevada Independent Living Network would like to offer a list of some of the valuable resources available. There are many city and county-specific resources listed on each of their websites, but the list below offers Statewide and individual resources that you can customize for yourself to be better-prepared before a disaster strikes. Remember, you can always call 211 to get immediate resources, 988 for a mental health emergency, and 911 if you need any other emergency assistance.
